August '19

August has been a wild ride. Most of all, it marked one of the loveliest most exciting months of the year so far. Not only did the sweetheart and I celebrate our first year together (I know, cute, just a year), but I also moved into my first bigger place after graduating uni.

i couldn’t be happier - or more stressed out right now. with huge changes come great responsibilities.

even though so much has happened, it’s a little hard to remember everything i’ve been up to; it’s been such a rush! the first half of august literally consisted of living day by day waiting for the move to finally happen, finding a new tenant for my old place, planning decor and interior for the new place and daydreaming about the monsteras i am going to get. to balance it all out, my family and i went to nuremberg to visit my aunts and cousins which i haven’t seen in about a year! on a spontaneous afternoon after work i decided to get on the train and go to my hometown where i met up with my best friend lu again, where we had a few drinks and played pool until late and i drove back for work the next day.

i sold most of my clothes and gadgets i simply didn’t use anymore and invested in a new film camera, as well as played around with my other cameras some more. there was city fest where i got really drunk on cider and felt sick but thank god, didn’t vomit. and i watched a bunch of films. a bunch of them. i should keep a list but i already have my letterboxed account (feel free to follow me: @capuletsbirdie) and i also have no clue as to why i made myself cry at 9am watching dead poets society again.

if i’m being honest, i forgot where i put my camera most of the time throughout the whole move so i didn’t take that many this month. happy september to you folks.
